Early this morning, in the Marina, a Muni bus crashed into a car injuring three. The crash occurred near the intersection of Lombard and Franklin at around 1:30am. The three people who were injured were taken to a nearby hospital.

Last night, a Muni train struck and seriously injured a pedestrian walking near Second and King Street. While the circumstances of this dangerous incident are still not clear, it appears that William Brand, a retired journalist, who worked for the Oakland Tribune walked onto the tracks of an oncoming train.
