Injured Paraglider Rescued by Helicopter From Mussel Rock Beach

Midnight, Wednesday, June 3rd, an unidentified paraglider flew into a cliff approximately 200 feet above Mussel Rock Beach. The individual was stuck on a two-foot ledge that could not be reached from the ground.
A member of the CHP dropped from a helicopter where the injured paraglider was lifted to safety. The individual was then driven to San Francisco General Hospital with mild back injuries.
