Woman Seriously Injured in San Francisco Scooter Accident

Last week, a woman on a scooter was struck and seriously injured by Felicia Stenson, 35, of Oakland. Stenson was arrested for driving under the influence. The victim, not yet identified was riding her scooter in West Portal, when Stenson made a left turn onto Claremont Avenue. Stenson struck the woman in a catastrophic impact.
The woman was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Her leg was amputated below the knee. Stenson is being held in San Francisco County Jail.
