San Francisco Muni Accident with Pedestrian

Last night, a Muni train struck and seriously injured a pedestrian walking near Second and King Street. While the circumstances of this dangerous incident are still not clear, it appears that William Brand, a retired journalist, who worked for the Oakland Tribune walked onto the tracks of an oncoming train.
The San Francisco police department is continuing its investigation since a Muni vehicle was involved in this crash. Brand, who was transported to San Francisco General Hospital is in critical condition.
